  1. What made you decide on this bottle opener over the other designs?

    1. We like all of our designs, however, this is the one we chose to show because it was the most creative design, it wasn't just your basic everyday bottle opener. All the other bottle opener designs work well too but we chose to show this one.

    1. Because we thought it was creative and it is not your usual bottle opener which is cool. It is different but still works well.

  3. Have you found that a certain type of design works better and is less durable than the others?

    1. All of our final designs work, but some may start chipping or cracking after a couple of uses, just because the plastic material is kind of weak compared to metal or other materials. So we have to wait and see and do many tests to test durability.

  4. Do you think that this bottle opener would be popular do to its size compared to other bottle openers which are much smaller?

    1. I do not think this would be popular, it is more for the comedy and irony of having a bottle opener that is a bottle. I think some of our other designs would be more popular, but this is the one we chose to showcase.

    1. It needs to be big but not too big. This one is about 120mm and it has good functionality too.

    1. Our group member, Gabe who made the original idea, positioned the hook and the opening correctly so that it could grip a cap and hang on while someone applies pressure and cracks the cap open

    1. Probably not, some of our other designs would definitely be more efficient but this one is more unique that's why we chose to display it.

  8. how can you update your design to make it better

    1. This design is fairly good, we tinkered with prototypes to make the final product which is shown here. We might have to make the hook part a little more study and efficient but other than that I am not sure what else we could do.

    1. Yes I think so, especially on one of the first uses. After a couple of uses, however, the material could start to wear down and crack.
