During this TinkerCad tutorial, I learned all the basics of TinkerCad. I learned how to cut shapes, make objects, resize them and much mo...
What do you think the hardest part of these past 4 weeks (besides class time!)?
ReplyDeleteLearning to use TinkerCad was very challenging for me. After i took the tutorial and practiced a good amount, I finally got the hang of it and produced some good products. It is also a challenge to have print a project, and have it turn out as well as it looks on TinkerCad. It may seem like a good idea on the program, but once you print it, it could need more tinkering or it could have a limitation due to the printer.
DeleteIf the bottle opener does not end up being strong enough to open a bottle, what adjustments will you make to your design?
ReplyDeleteWe actually had one bottle opener that did not work, so I changed the thickness of the hook that opens the bottle and made the design more sturdy overall to be able to withstand more force and pressure because opened a bottle takes a lot of force because the cap is tightly on the bottle. I also made the hook less sharp and i made it thicker and a little more blunt because if the hook is too thin and sharp, it will easily chip and crack under pressure.
DeleteWill the bottle opener have enough strength to actually open the bottles
ReplyDeleteOur prototypes did not, but with a little tinkering and making of new designs, our final product worked.
